Audrey Stoffle is the Chief Editor of Sociology Degree Programs. A graduate of Berea College, Audrey has a BA in English with a writing emphasis and a minor in Spanish. Audrey has worked as Editor for a literary magazine, Appalachian Heritage, and has taught English as a foreign language in Seville, Spain. Her writing and editing work has appeared on a variety of career and travel websites. When she’s not writing, Audrey enjoys running, tennis, photography, and biking around Atlanta.
Laura McPherson is the Associate Editor of Sociology Degree Programs. She studied technical writing at Northern Illinois University and is currently preparing for a master’s degree in Career and Technical Education at Eastern New Mexico University. Her experience includes creating and deploying career training modules for professionals in various industries. She lives in Chicago and enjoys supporting the Chicago Blackhawks, book collecting, and reading.

Charles Sipe Charles is a graduate of the LPN program at Ft. Sam Houston and trained at Brooke Army Medical Center. He has worked as a Med-Surg floor nurse at Madigan Army Medical Center at Ft. Lewis and as a nurse at a nursing home and assisted living facility. He has written for several online publications, contributed to the print publication of The Age of Conversation 2, and written for university blogs. After serving in the military, Charles attended the University of Washington where he studied business administration.
James Madeiros is a professional writer with 10 years of professional writing and copywriting experience. He has appeared as a guest contributor of several popular websites. He has a law degree from University of Toledo and has appeared as a background performer in numerous television shows including Human Target.
Shannon Paterson is a writer and editor who spent 10 years working in the fast-paced television news industry as a reporter, producer, and news anchor. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a Visual Communication degree. Shannon lives in Boise with her husband and two young children, and loves to spend time biking, hiking, traveling, and creating short films with her family.
